SIG47

First SIG45 Spring meeting, 23 April 2012, Park Inn Hotel, Leuven, Belgium

The primary aim of the first SIG45 meeting in Spring 2012, is the identification of joint scientific challenges in the field of UQ for fluid mechanics, the formulation of common scientific goals, and a shared scientific approach (methodology) between SIG members.

Next to this primary goal, some issues of organizational nature are also discussed during the meeting:

  • Organization of the SIG: steering committee, membership, coordinator
  • Organization of SIG activities in 2012-2013. Possible examples: first informal SIG workshop (or mini symposium), international workshop on UQ in CFD, summer school for PhD students, etc.
