PROGRAMME:

Wednesday, 6th April2022

The whole day is dedicated to excursion to various facilities and laboratories of the Czech PC ERCOFTAC members. Some of the facilities are in Prague, some are in other places around. All excursions will be organized in groups, depending on the interest of participants. It is suggested to choose one excursion from the list below and contact ERCOFTAC CADO to inform about the choice:

1. Aerodynamic laboratory in Nový Knín – offered by the Institute of Thermomechanics, CAS
2. Centre of Vehicles for Sustainable Mobility in Roztoky u Prahy – offered by the Department of Automotive Engineering, FME CTU
3. Turbulence laboratory in Prague – offered by the Institute of Thermomechanics, CAS
4. Fluid mechanics laboratory in Prague – offered by the Department of Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics, FME CTU

For the excursions: meeting at 9:00 am in front of the main building Czech Technical University in Prague, Technická 4, Prague 6 – Dejvice, 160 00 Prague
The individual groups will travel from there to their destinations.

Meeting will be held in the lecture room T4: D1-366, third floor of the main building

This day is reserved for scientific programme, mainly presenting the scientific activities of the Czech PC ERCOFTAC member organizations and their partners.

Friday, 8th April 2022

The lunches on 7th - 8th, dinner on 7th April as well as refreshment during the coffee breaks will be offered to all registered participants free of charge.

ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORT:

No special (free or discounted) accommodation is offered. An individual reservation of accommodation is recommended using the standard booking services.

We suggest to stay close to green (A) line of the Prague metro (subway). The ERCOFTAC meeting will be close to station “Dejvicka”, so it is suggested to choose accommodation somewhere between this station and the station “Flora 2”. This part of metro passes through city centre, so you can choose accommodation at different prices and quality standards. The same metro line A also goes towards the airport, so it's also good choice from the point of view of easy arrival/departure.

ONLINE CAPABILITIES:

The official part of the meeting (April 7-8) will be broadcasted using ZOOM platform. The links and passwords will be provided on request to all registered participants at least one week before the event. As a backup solution for the case of connection loss, all meeting sessions will also be recorded and made available on request.
The standard WiFi connection using Eduroam credentials will be available during the whole event.
