Fernando Gisbert is a Technical Fellow in Computational Fluid Dynamics at ITP Aero. He graduated at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2002 and received his Ph.D. from the same institution in 2007. Since 2007, he works at the Simulation Technologies department of ITP. He is in charge of the development of an in-house CFD solver used in the aerodynamic design of Low Pressure Turbines (LPTs). He also leads the development of a high fidelity, high order Navier-Stokes solver to analyse the flow around LPTs using large eddy simulations.
