The ETMM-14 Symposium was held in Barcelona on 6th - 8th September 2023

ETMM-14 aims to provide a bridge between researchers and practitioners in flow, turbulence and combustion by reporting fundamental and application-oriented progress in all areas of turbulence research. The scope of the conference comprises:

• Modelling, simulation, analysis and optimization methods for turbulent flows, heat and mass transfer, combustion, phase change and multiphase transport. 
• Experimental techniques for flow, turbulence, combustion and environmental processes. 
• Innovative application of modelling, simulation and experiments to issues in fluid technology, energy, life sciences and the environment.

Besides regular topical sessions, the ETMM-14 conference program will include 7 invited keynote lectures of leading experts and the following 7 mini symposia: 

• Physics-compatible numerical methods for fluid flows  
• Recent advances in large eddy simulation of multiphase flows  
• Transition modelling  
• Hybrid RANS/LES methods  
• Machine learning for turbulence  
• High-fidelity simulations of industrial flows  
• Climate-neutral thermochemical energy conversion
