Rene Pecnik is Professor of Thermal and Fluids Engineering at TU Delft. Motivated by a passion for renewable energy systems he performs applied research in close collaboration with industries in the field of energy conversion systems, and fundamental research in the fields of numerical analysis, fluid mechanics and turbulence. His expertise includes, for example, turbulent heat transfer, radiative transfer, turbulence modeling, supercritical fluids, unsteady turbomachinery flows, direct numerical simulations, high performance computing, and turbomachinery.
