Direct and Large Eddy Simulation (DLES)

The first DLES Workshop was hold in 1994 to provide a forum for state-of-the-art simulation techniques that resolve instantaneous turbulent-flow structures either partially or fully. As computational power continues to grow, these approaches are becoming increasingly relevant, even for industrial applications at high Reynolds numbers.
